Ultra 360 Alexandria Trail Challenge

The Ultra 360 Alexandria Trail Challenge takes place in the heart of South Africa on the picturesque farm Alexandria, near the small town of Tweespruit in the Free State. Alexandria lies at the foot of the legendary Black Mountain or better known to the locals as Thaba Nchu Mountain.

Some say the Free State is flat but we beg to differ. With breathtaking views as far as the eye can see, elevations of over 1000+ m are easily reached and will put the brave and strong to the test!

Ultra 360 ATC is hosted by the Flanegan family and race partner Ultra 360 who are all enthusiastic trail runners themselves, this race is for trail runners by trail runners.

The race starts and ends at the Race Village on Alexandria Farm.

Directions

From Bloemfontein follow the N8 towards Maseru / Ladybrand.  At the S1048 sign turn right and follow the boards and flags.

Accommodation

Your entry automatically includes camping for Friday and Saturday night R50 per person for non-competitors. Kids under 12 years’ camp for free.
The camping site at the Race Village and you can book your site directly with Jax @ info@alexandriafarm.co.za

Food and Refreshments

The locals form the district will cater on Saturday throughout the day and you can indulge in farm-style catering, ice cold refreshments and many more.
All Visa and Master cards are accepted.

Non-Competitors

This event aims to be a family day with lots of “gees”.  Come and relax under the trees while cheering the runners as they cross the finish line.

Bring the kids, there will be a jumping castle and plenty of clean, fresh air to enjoy.

Friday Night

Fully Self-catering.  We hope to see you relaxing around the bon fire to share stories and have an early night. Tomorrow is going to be a big day!

Saturday

Race day! – registration starts at 5 am and hopefully, all participants will be back at the race village at 18h00.

Saturday Night: Entertainment and Steak Braai.

 The combination of live music and the gathering of mind-like people around a warm, cracking bonfire is a winning recipe for having a good time and fostering camaraderie.

Steak braai tickets for sale at R100 per person.

Sunday

Die Wildebees Challenge.  Only one race at R50 per person.

This short, fun race is an excellent way to finish our trail running festival with a magnificent floating trophy and gift pack for the winner.

You can enter on Saturday during the main event and Sunday morning from 07h00 am.

Registration

Registration takes place from 05h00 on Saturday 21 September 2024 at the Race Village on Alexandria farm.

Please make sure that you give yourself enough time to register before your race starts.

However, with a dedicated table for all online entries, registration should go smoothly as you did most of the admin online already – thank you for that!
